They feed on protein rich gums, book binding pastes, textiles, leather products, dried and powdered foods.They are scavengers and can be difficult to control as they hide in small cracks well into the fabric of a building. Drying out the building, insecticidal dusts and diatamaceous earth are good control methods and products. |
