RABBITS |
|
Rabbits normally live in burrows but they will often live in scrapes in the earth under bushes or shrubs. They will breed throughout the year but the main period is February to August. The average litter size is 5 and the female may have up to 5 litters per year. They eat up to half a kilo of vegetable matter per day and damage thousands of pounds worth of crops per year. They can also do tremendous damage in an urban or country garden eating away at your favourite plants. |
