FOXES |
|
Foxes eat a wide range of foods including small mammals and birds, reptiles, insects, worms, fruit, vegetables and carrion. In the urban environment they scavenge and survive on food left out for them by householders. In the country they live in an earth below ground, even using old rabbit or badger burrows. In towns they live under sheds and other buildings. They breed once a year with 4-5 young being born in March and April. A fox can live up to 8 years. |
