We have had another busy week with several cluster fly jobs, one whole day putting up pigeon spikes and bird free fire gel at two locations in Tewkesbury and the rest of the time dealing with rats, mice and squirrel trapping. Having put squirrel traps out on Friday we have caught 4 already. The rodent jobs have been varied from mice in kitchens or houses in general to rats in ceilings and walls and in and around chicken pens. This makes the job more interesting when greater thought is needed to determine how to get bait to where it is needed. We have managed to get bait in through light fittings or into walls by making small holes in plaster board and sealing these up afterwards. The way baits are formulated makes the job a lot easier than it used to be. We have several mole trapping jobs still on going and many second and third visits to make next week with regard to rats and mice.
