Already we have had 4 rat control jobs to deal with with one in Gloucester where the rats had chewed through a plastic water pipe and drenched the ceiling meaning that it had to be pulled down. The builder was showered with rat droppings when he pulled it down. Rats had come up via the soil pipe housing and had been frequenting one part of the roof where the pipes were. We left a large bag of single feed bait sufficient to kill 20 to 30 rats to be put in the soil pipe housing. We have had them invading a shop and eating biscuits which involved laying traps and blocking holes, coming into gardens and looking for food in sheds and coming from fiels into surrounding houses and getting into lofts which resulted in bait being put into the lofts and bait boxes in the gardens. We have squirrels, pigeon netting and spiking, rabbit shooting and bed bugs to do later this week and no doubt other work will come in over the next few days as well.
